wahhhhhh
wah fucking hell i published the post and the internet fucking disconnected and when i fucking refreshed the page, the entry fucking disappeared.
this is how pissed i am. fortunately its a relatively short post. lemme try recalling wad i typed. hmmm.... i posted that 9 mods seem a lot but most of them are actually low cost DIY mods. beer and clubbing are way more expensive. less clubbing + no KTV + no movie + no snooker = fatter wallet. tested and proven. anyway will dream up more low cost DIY mods and then keep you guys posted. for those who wanna see pics, they are NOT available. cos i dun have a digital camera with me anymore and cos im lazy to upload them and link them to this page anyway. can always meetup to look 1st hand.
hmm yah think thats about all. cant rem the rest, if any. wah fucking Sing*** is fucked up like hell. recently keep disconnecting. cos my sis din take up a new contract when they offered it cos she intends to switch to Star***. cos she complains the wireless LAN keeps disconnecting. after so many years with Sing***, shes finally switching. hope its better. anyway shes paying so as long as i get to use a connection, i dun care if she changes anot. my dad's been with Sing*** Mobile so long and they give lousy phones to try to tempt him into signing another contract. i told him i would get a better phone at the time i want, so dun bother entertaining them. cant they like give better offers to loyal customers? anyway my sis' 3120 is acting up. "PLS INSERT SIM CARD"!!! and the battery runs flat faster than my old 8855. high time i change phones! hmmm pretty please can the price drop??!!

66.67% of the vacation has past
wow its been ages since i had blogged even though its the holidays now. xmas has come and gone but it isnt an exceptionally special event for me cos i aint christian. been very busy recently though im not earning any $$$. sianz not much tuition this month. a welcome break, but a potentially deadly situation....
no tuition, but did quite a lot of happening things though. busy with nonsense actually. went Holland V on xmas and found that its actually quite small. sort of like Kenting in ROC, but much smaller and more ex. went wala wala which they kept raving about, but din manage to catch the live band. seems to me its much smaller than CHIJMES, at the same prices too! cheers to Stella Artois and Hoegaarden and Singapore Sling!
went MacRitchie too. nice views not found in urban Singapore. much like outfield, minus the helmet and FBO. hey who says im not the sort who would hike 11km? im from INFANTRY mind you! went Yishun Dam for a mini-BBQ too. poorer breeze than usual and a small turn out, but it beats MSN-ing at home yeah?
but but but i actually spent most of my time doing up Summer Rain and swimming. ok not swimming alot, but jacuzzi-ing and sauna-ing. not very tanned though cos mostly its rain-ing or already night time. oh running and gym-ing too. time to go for IPPT and grab $$$ from SAF. anyway, for those who dun know, i did some shit stuff for Summer this vacation. read on if you are interested.
1) Autogauge 60mm meters. Volt and vacuum. volt meter tells me when to change batt. and vacuum meter controls my right foot so i have better FC (fuel consumption)
2) HKB bosskit for my MOMO steering wheel. much cooler than the grey stuff from KIA
3) licence plate. 1st thing which may not pass inspection cos the chrome lettering is too reflective.
4) eyelid. 2nd thing which may not pass inspection cos it blocks some of the light
5) airscoop. stuck it white and fixed it up, 8 months after i got it. hows that for procrastination??
6) DIY-ed the grill for fun. ok its not much nicer than the original KIA one. but some say it looks fiercer. redid it twice though.
7) debadged the rear to go with 6). freaking hard to do though it seems simple. easier for me to wax the car now.
8) removed the airbox and resonator and fitted in a CAI (Cold Air Intake). pick up seems better. scared of water now though.
9) finally knocked and sprayed the freaking dent. and patched up the bumper somewhat. tio suan until i fixed it up, 8 months after the incident. hws that for procrastination? well i believe im a good antidote to poison.
thinking of doing more shit for Summer. but the damage to the wallet must be low, very low, freaking low. heavy poison is unfeasible till i start earning and saving again.
feel tempted to start soccer betting again. "won" $97 on sat. din actually play though. wasted. dun feel like going back to skool with tutorials and lectures and projects and tests and exams. really feel like doing something related to cars in future. wishful thinking? ok, my thoughts are unsorted. just typing anything that comes to mind. hope there isnt rain tml. going Sentosa. wasted for not going JB today. no jam! been going in quite a few times already. for food and petrol. dangerous place to be in though. mustn't go alone.
wow kun juz came back from Laos and Thailand. 10 day trip too! alas i din go overseas this vacation. no $$$ to go anyway. feel like visiting ROC again. its such a fun place. and Bangkok/Pattaya. nv had the chance to go yet. perhaps i wun get the chance to go.... how sad! 4 weeks have gone by and i haben even got started on buying the things i want. sigh limited budget due to lack of tuition so i have to choose between spending it on the car or spending it to buy other stuff not related to Summer. SIANZ!! makes me feel like betting again....

shack, really shack
just woke from nearly 11 hrs of sleep. slept at 10. wanted to write last nite but was really too tired after tuition. din sleep much the nite b4 cos went clubbing. happening sia had to stop twice just so my fren could crawl out and puke. fortunately no puke was found anywhere inside the car, or else have to change seats and/or mats doubly quick!! the passenger seat is still wet though. yes its still wet as of 5pm yesterday as mr kelvin sat on it. hehehe. i 4got to tell him abt it as he climbed in. SORRY!! and no, its not pee. juz that it poured on wed nite and we had to freaking walk to the car from zouk right to the end of the carpark opp. shucks it rained EXTREMELY heavily and we couldnt afford to wait till it stopped. crawling out and lying in the rain TWICE made the seat wetter and there was a puddle of water on the seat when i parked the car on thur morning. 12 hrs later and its still wet. wonder if its dry now??
back to wed nite, was intending to go in FOC but the queue was quite long and by the time we got there, invites were closed and we had to pay.... the girls should have queued when they got there instead of sitting around and waiting. *^&%$#$!! so they still dun haf to pay, but us guys paid for entrance into Phuture when we din even step inside. how pathetic is that? hmmm still din manage to hear summer rain... plain unlucky i guess. din drink much cos i was driving. its so ex anyway, compared to last wed. drank like a fish!! ooops shouldnt talk about this.
hmmm got an sms yest that Manchester United is out of the Champion's League. well seems like Alex Ferguson will be sacked soon. im somewhat disappointed, but i dun care much la. it doesnt really affect me anymore. i have learnt that good things always come to an end. what affects me is tuition! really want to have more assignments. been calling agencies everyday recently. hehehe... but i saved a shitload of $$$ again cos Exercise Bodykit has been called off. dun really like the idea of cutting, riveting and putty-ing the bodykit on. too bad Rio doesnt have bolt on bodykits. hmmm can save the $$$ and buy the stuff i want. next project should be Exercise Eyelid. cheap cheap one. thats all this holiday folks! the next ones should be rims and maybe lowering. but kena poison again that day when Kelvin intro-ed Climatech or watever its called. Nice speedo le!! this guy is always poisoning me. haha but he also discouraged me from the bodykit.... he is really a lobang kid for cars man... intro me to whole of Serangoon Gardens that day while conducting Exercise Gauges and Exercise Bosskit. now i know where Chomp Chomp is. been there b4 actually quite a long time ago. anyway wah sian yest the vacuum meter stopped working. must go back rectify. if it happens again i swear i will go and slap Uncle Lim's face. anyway thanks so much really, for the steering. dun 4get that the date is 7/12/2005 and the timer has started. hehehe
wah sian today raining. yest tan awhile nia, wanted to continue today... but well, think go gym ba.... listening to Rainie Yang now... quite nice.... been procrastinating on this. still got a few things yet to do, and i have been swearing to do them during the holidays. LOL!! b4 i 4get, i actually wanna thank W for tuesday's event. he is THE man for jobs... and electronic gadget stuff.... tues quite ok la actually. only the tentage part is more shiong. thanks for intro-ing the jobs. if ever i have lobangs, i will jio u one dun worry. hahaha so you got handphone lobang bo? shucks, time to go cos gotta get some stuff.... stay good people!!

the smell of new cars
i swear the smell of new cars make u just feel like getting a new car. havent been in a showroom for quite a while and went to Leng Kee today morning. reason was to get a chance to win the Kangoo petrol van. quite cool la but din manage to start the car. so wasted! at least W won a keychain while i got NUTS for going. oh well, wat to do. next stop was Kia but my SE wasnt around. really wanted to test drive the new Rio and see hw it feels compared to Summer Rain. saw the Rio hatch with bodykit. really quite nice. the Rio sedan with bodykit is DAMN nice, as i mentioned b4. big turn off was the beige interior and black rubber strips and manual mirrors. but the dashboard meter and bodykit and more solid-sounding doors are thumbs up! too bad this model wasnt around in march if not i would have gotten it. saw the cerato hatch with carbon fibre printing. quite nice. makes me feel like doing it. but too ex.... this kinda thing can wait
after Kia, it was on to Hyundai to see the new Verna. same chassis same dashboard instruments same steering as the Rio. anyway Kia is owned by Hyundai mah, not surprising. but the looks pale in comparison to the Rio sedan. not half as fierce. summore the Verna more ex. the new Getz also looks slightly better than the old one. just some cosmetic change to the grill. anyway the Tuscani is a cool car. 1st time i sat in it. 1st time i sat in many cars, come to think of it.

Tucson = Sportage
Santa Fe = Sorento
Trajet = Carnival
Sonata = Magentis
this self-competition allows Hyundai to earn??? anyway the last stop was to Honda to see the new Civic. bigger, definitely, but i think it looks sort of weird. think needs getting used to. the new City is nicer of course. but Honda is just so ex. i rather get Lancer den Vios den City. Lancer Sports best, and i dun like the central instrument cluster for Vios. hmmm if budget was less than 50k, think i will go for Rio Sports. got bodykit leh! den no need to mod liao, just pump petrol can liao. i just prefer sedans over hatches. and 4 doors over 2 doors. anyway i bought the Rio cos its the cheapest sedan, and 3rd cheapest car, in Singapore in march, not for its looks. Picanto and Kelisa are juz too small. Getz and Wira and Accent are all more ex. wah now got so many more choices.
anyway i fixed up the licence plate as promised. most pple agree that the dent is not obvious at all now.... and i waxed the car yest and the day b4. now kilat kilat liao.... hmmmm oh yeah the leather seats i smelled today are really terrific. damn comfortable. perhaps next time i change my fabric seats to leather ba. the grey interior looks a bit off. or maybe just change car la.... well the decision will be made after i graduate at the earliest. the FOC 3 years is good for the wallet cos i take 7 yr loan nia. but the WRX is tempting. wonder if it will still exist after i graduate? wah lao last time the Civic so beng, now all the bengsters change to WRX liao. wonder if korean car can tahan till 10 yrs anot also. think can la, the build quality improving liao. meanwhile, must save up for bodykit and gauges. more tuition please!! oh gtg liao. talk again next time....
