haiz. so many lessons learnt. 所谓交学费。 lesson 3 cost $100. lesson 4, 5 and 6 caused some heart pain. lesson 1 and 2 are the MOST important.

some things are fated la i feel. i decided to save $$$ by not fixing platinum plugs nor Diamond Vision. in the end i have to pay to repair the bumper as well as a $70 fine. what to do.

now. 15" Scorpion hyperblack rims. matt black. which means i dun have to wash it much. can treat them like hw i treat my lorry rims. still find them small. but well wat to do.

Summer's engine bay

nothing much. stock actually. the difference is juz changing the air box and resonator with the K&N open pod filter. and a long thermal-wrapped aluminium pipe. and a cold air ram intake. its the only performance mod so far. and its the best mod i ever did. but the pipe prevented me from fixing a strut bar. hmmm guess its ok since im doing springs, which makes a far larger impact than a strut bar. no other nonsense like e68, capsule, GNG, volt stab, grounding etc cos i dun believe they work. well except changing extractors. that would work, but its illegal.

Honda Civic ES5 VTi-S

din like this car when it 1st came out. as compared to the EK4. well it sorta grew on me. this one has original full bodykit. and original sunroof. and original spoiler. and original 15" sport rims. and 1.7 litre VTEC engine. cool? compared with the current Cibic, think its nicer. still getting used to the new one. looks like a spaceship. with integra rear and odyssey front. hee theres a SGF red plate in the carpark now. rich bugger. or average but wanna act rich so bought an OPC.

1 tiong chia is back

this vios is back jostling for parking lot again. sian. tot it was gone for good. perhaps went to malaysia for a month? back to 3 tiong chias now. din take the pic of the lancer. yet. neither the esi.

as far as i can see, changed to coilovers, deep dish 16" rims, and a couple of gauges. nv seen the engine bay b4. din do anything to exhaust(i think). no sound one. and the standard TRD spoiler. auto summore. and of course, lots of stickers. abangs have a fascination with stickers. no idea why. even has the Spirit of Competition one. Mitsu sticker on a Toyota? haha i remember i wanted to put that myself. not anymore. i want Summer to be clean and simple now.

haha i did my servicing a few days back. 20k done at 23k. hehe. workmanship seems ok. changed spark plugs. the original ones chui liao. but changed normal plugs, not iridium or platinum. $16 nia cheap cheap. budget la. iridium $60+ leh....

haha anyway i changed my rims already. finally! unfortunately they arent 16". and neither are they gold in colour. 17". yum yum. haha just fantasising la. just 15". bo pianz. budget rims budget tyres. so that i have leftover cash for rainy days. for sometimes in life a compromise must be reached. brother brother price for the rims from Kel. his Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 botak liao and he psycho me to change to his so that he can take my Hankooks. in relatively good condition ran 23k km. though grip in wet is non-existent. but lo and behold his marchie couldnt fit my Hankooks and he is now on 15" lorry rims with the 60+k 712. and he says its nice! crazy fella. so in the end i changed. to Nankang i-dunno-whats-the-model. cheap tyre but its brand new and the thread is fierce. wonder hw good the grip is. shall find out soon enough. thinking of wasting $80 on lug nuts. pending since the spanner cant reach the nuts and marchie's $80 nuts cant fit onto kia. selfish korean brand. thought of wasting a separate $80 on dunno-what-you-call-it since marchie once again cant fit perfectly onto selfish kia. but i travelled at 100km/h and there arent vibrations. see how ba. the best is not wasting any $$.

my springs no stock. gotta wait till June. hehe lower liao den it will be the end of the costly mods. shit la my rear bumper kena hit-and-run. fucking lorry. crumpled the bumper and also cracked the fucking tail light. fortunately the fucking lorry din smash the light. else it will be $200+ spent for nothing. i fucking condemn lorries now. hog the fucking centre lane on expressways: nvm. leave dings and dents on my doors: nvm. leave 1 fucking long and fucking deep scratch on my doors: nvm. now this. my patience is gone. damn pissed off when i 1st saw it. now... haiya what can i do? i cant do anything now except suck my thumb. and curse the fucking driver. hope he kena accident and DIE!

been really busy these few days. anyway i caught the Champions' League final live this morning. damn shack slept for 5 hrs only. damn frustrating night after arse-nal scored the opening goal. thought that all was lost when barca couldnt equalise. till the 76th min. 39 min of sickening frustration. but when they equalised i knew they would win. credit to arse-nal for holding out for so long though they were 1 man down. heh. gonna happily go jersey-hunting.

1 lesson today. mini break is over. found out a few days ago that Aaron Aziz lived in my block. no wonder. always see him quite dao and dun need to go work in the morning those kind. actually i also dunno who he is la. newspapers stated that he is an actor. anyway recently i dun see his vios anymore. think he moved out. had wondered why he stuck such a huge sticker on his bonnet: "anaqi". i tot it meant anarchy. heh so its his son's name. danish anaqi. quite a cool name. the ah beng SSG also moved to the block opp. his cibic esi is parked opp nowadays. 2 tiong cars gone. left the lancer cs2 and the white esi nia. sian no WRX or Evo to drool over. whole carpark so big but has only got 2 tiong cars. alot of new altis and sunny and all those uncle cars. got a mazda 6 2.3 and a saab la but damn stock and seldom parked there anyway. these 2 owners work real hard. oh yeah got 1 white wish. 18" chrome rims and a gigantic spoiler. but stock otherwise. 1/2 1/2 one. like mine. haha.

recently watched jarhead. rubbish show. caught apocalypse now too. very dark movie which i dun really like. the dialogue is unfathomable. damn draggy 2.5 hrs show. and the LOST dvd cocked up at the last espisode of disc 1. crap i cant continue watching for now.

saw 1st hand the 1:12 AUTOart Lamborghini Murcielago. it costs $920. yes, nine HUNDRED and twenty singapore dollars. i can understand why its so ex. its damn heavy and damn damn damn detailed. the doors can lock. WTF! they make the doors lock-able. i can understand why some pple gian to have it. pple like calvin who are serious collectors. but no, i din buy it. 920 X 80% is 736. i can change rims with that money. but this single model makes my white knights seem worthless. cal's got ferraris, lambos, bugattis. all those exotic continental supercars. which i dun really gian. but he got 2 R34s. the only 2 japs. hee.

heh i still remember when i gian-ed the AUTOart Evo 8 when it 1st came out. Pat was telling me dun be crazy and waste $$ on such stuff. sigh. who knows i might give up this hobby. started when i was a small kid. upgraded to 1:18 AUTOart only when i started earning $$. hmmm its damn profitable. imagine buying those WRC Evos and STis at $133 and selling them for $300-500. about 300% return. provided you bear to sell them. too bad i knew of this late. i din have $$$ to buy $133 AUTOart when the shops were selling them then.

boring thursday

heh juz woke up not long ago. din watch the match. slept at 1am. i left it to fate. whether i would wake up between 2.30 to 4.30am. din wanna set alarm cos though i wanted to watch, i din really support either teams. if i were sleeping soundly, why tekan myself over this match right?? anyway hope i dun see the scoreline nor receive any sms about it. so i can watch the repeat telecast at 3pm. or 10pm. heh cant go soccernet.com den.

today.... seems like no lessons again. mini break was extended??!! anyway i gotta do housework later. so no time to stay online and complain that im sianz. haha. joseph isnt online and today is thurs. surprised. qw no longer online cos hes working. but online-d till so late last night. i wonder hw he can tahan sleeping so little everyday. if its me i cnfrm sleep early early den save electricity for the PC. haha. wah siao liao somebody going to display his AUTOart collection liao. 13th day of the hols. tts nearly 2 weeks. wow. damn fast. anyway had 2 lessons on mon and 2 on tues. none today. some of the students are done. the others took a mini break. anyway fortunately there werent any lessons today. cos i had to hang out at novena square. well its nothing good. not shopping. my grandma is in TTSH. nothing major fortunately.

hmm things din work out as i had hoped. sianz. and recently some pple got some kinda problem. attitude problem. dun even have the courtesy of replying my calls. nvm its ok. i can take it.

W has started work. sigh dun tink i will. hope he enjoys his time there. had 2 lessons yesterday. possibly 3 today. calm b4 the storm.

anyway i watched another 4 or 5 episodes of LOST season 1 yesterday. damn nice. very exciting to watch. den i watched Black Hawk Down. think its damn kick going into combat. never knowing when you gonna die. den i watched Man U Charlton. 4-0 whitewash which confirmed 2nd place. pathetic man, having to fight for 2nd place. seems like Kieran Richardson is not bad. to be fair, man u lost alot of players to long term injuries this season. Gabriel Heinze, Paul Scholes, Alan Smith, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the departure of Roy Keane. losing 3 senior midfielders is tough. anyway think van Nistelrooy is going. end of the 19 million love affair. waited 1 whole year for his injury to heal too. good bye old man.

anyway, watching lots of tv these few days. hmm juz took pics of my AUTOart Nissan Skyline GTR-R34 V-Spec II. perhaps will post later. lots of pics to post. haha. think im selling it off. to raise funds for the Subaru Impreza WRX STi Cockeye. haha im dismantling my white knights team. its ok i dun have so much space. wonder if i can dig up the pic of my yellow Impreza WRX Type-R Slimeye. i miss it, but not all that much. this is an expensive and space-consuming hobby.

the engines i love

the famous Mitsubishi DOHC(Double Overhead Camshaft) 4G63 Turbo. the Evo 9 has MIVEC as well. Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control.


the equally famous Honda DOHC B16A with VTEC(Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control). 170 horsepower NA(Normally Aspirated) engine. now which stock non-turbo 1.6 litre engine gives 170??? VTEC kicks in at 5.5k rpm. and i heard its shiok. but look at the civic now. its positively disgusting.


now all the bengs have switched to this. few Civic VTi/SiRs on the roads now. the Subaru EJ20 boxer engine with TMIC(Top Mounted Intercooler)

9th day of the holidays

amazingly fast. the holidays started like, yesterday?! my last entry here was on mon. quite surprised i din update for so long. was i that busy?

hmmm lets see. tues was spent on 3 lessons. plus meeting Kel at nite. wed was another 3 lessons. plus going to marina south for dinner. dunno why the heck W and kun decided to go for dinner there. in his words, "go once a year to see the place collapse already anot. haben collapse shun bian have dinner there". anyway i din even pay for the food but they din want me to take a share of theirs either. think i ate only chix wings and prawns. and some egg soup. haha at least i filled my hungry stomach. tot they would have gotten their blades after an afternoon out.

thu was spent on 1 lesson. did housework in the morning b4 joining W and kun for a tan. i swam only 4 laps. too shack after the housework. went to get the crystal casing for the phone in the evening after the lesson. W looked shack but he went along anyway. i really appreciate that. din manage to get a nice pencil case (again!). watched Final Destination 3 b4 hitting the sack. fri was spent watching LOST season 1 from 10am all the way to 4.30pm. den had 1 lesson and went YD with Kel thereafter. totally wasted our time. haha. and boy, i was damn shack. slept at 3am consecutively for quite a few days. and spent the whole day watching LOST. i caught like 7 episodes. damn nice. but my head was spinning when i decided to stop at 4.30. somehow i cant watch tv for so long, even if its a good movie. but i can play the computer for longer without being shack. think watching tv is mindless whereas the computer is far more interactive. i guess thats why.

heh today is sat. polling day. rained 1st thing in the morning. and raining now again. spent the morning and afternoon on 3 lessons. debating where to go tonight...
well if i aint out i shld be updating here later. if i am, i dunno when im gonna update again. perhaps in 5 days? haha take care everybody. and for those who bother to read this blog, thank you for making the effort and wasting your time reading. perhaps there are interesting posts sometimes, but most of the time its just like a little diary where i chuck boring stuff. anyway, have fun this hols!!!

2 lessons. followed by a back breaking carwash. damn the scoop is damn difficult to remove. and there are scars... really really regret sticking it on. learnt a lesson not to be a poser from now onwards. think i have decided not to change to GT wing. quite a poser thing to do. hmmm but removing the fishtail will result in holes... think i will leave it ba. see how 1st.

rained right after i washed the car. lucky i din wash it that cleanly. cos its quite tough washing the car when it has accumulated 3 weeks of dust and dirt and shit and watermarks. or is it 4 weeks? anyway think gonna wash again tml. just finished watching saving private ryan. quite a nice show. sigh war isnt a good thing. can get killed anytime. can also see a person's true character revealed. now im into war movies. heh.
