oh wow. 1 month of not updating. no forum-ing this sem, very much less MSN-ing, no blogging for a month. no-lifer busy doing projects/assignments/tutorials/studying-for-tests. no-lifer giving tuition to throw $$$ away. what does Orchard look like? i dun even remember..... Orchard ERP? nv ever paid b4, yet.
well well perhaps i will be quitting forums? i dun even bother to log on anymore. gets boring after a while. lets see if i go in again during the holidays. if not, guess the fad is really over... wonder if i will MSN during the hols? seems like i dun even online except to discuss stuff. how pathetic is that? well exams are coming round the corner. hope i will start turbocharging.... oh well less tuition now that the students' exams are coming up or are already over. more time for me to study, but well, no $$$. aww shucks....... nvm, study first and worry-abt-it-later
Friendster is more happening now, surprise surprise. think the server is still crappy though. logged in recently to approve friend requests. pretty amazing that people still play it. heard gunbound is happening too, but everyone i know had stopped. well all these are just fads. fun at first but never lasting very long. hmmm blogging is fun at first too, but a no-lifer equates boring posts. think it will serve well as a diary of sorts.... well i have a new fad now. its called google earth. quite fun making out the locations blah blah.... but some places are totally cloudy and others are not even resolved to any visible degree. quite hard to make out places less u r totally familiar with the surroundings. but all in all, a pretty neat idea....
www.streetdirectory.com is going commercial. how sad. no more handy street directions anymore. hmmmm. got fined at 85 last fri. how unlucky.... driving poorly these 2 days.... yikes! at least i have been sleeping more. damn shack to have consecutive 0630 days. my legs are damn blardy aching after the soccer on sun. haven ran for soooo long. think i better train during the Dec break. maybe another $300 will be good motivation. oh yeah mob briefing last last last sat and i was paid a grand total of $10 for doing nothing except catching up with the guys. Joseph cant believe im still griping about Greece winning Portugal and a Porto-Monaco Champions League final. and Milan losing a 3-0 lead in last year's final. lets see if I can add on to my collection of jerseys after the World Cup. hehehe. summer rain is at 10,800 km now but i still haben serviced. fc seems to be dropping. think will travel less as exams come and lessons stop. less $$ on petrol and less mileage clocked b4 servicing. rainy season recently so im washing like twice a week. getting lazier. not to mention less fussy. theres like 100 dings on the doors, 1 long deep scratch on the left doors, numerous stone chips on the bonnet and front fender, and of coz, that dent in front. but i dun feel the pain as much as the dent. still contemplating on what to do in Dec. shld i save for vacations or shld i spend it on the car? decisions decisions
was reading about some guy who has $250k in assets in the Sunday Times yesterday. i mean, 250k is cool obviously, but what does he do with all the $$? dying and bringing it with him is really dumb. saving up to buy a 1 million freehold is great, but staying in it but not spending on anything else is dumb. why not stay HDB and spending as and when required? nothing ostentatious but just some indulgences. unless the freehold is worth sacrificing meals, overseas holidays, a car, a wife, kids, entertainment eg. movies. well maybe his priorities are different. i admit im just a spendthrift.... oh well i learnt brandon dabbles in shares. how cool is that? 22 years old and playing shares. with REAL cash. i only played POEMS with 100k "cash" and earned only 4k+. thats like 4% only. nothing fantastic like 10-15% but hey im just a beginner. but to play with real cash. thats an entirely different proposition. he earns like every month but lost most of the earnings when he blew $700-800 1 particular month. nah i guess i will stick to tuition. more stable. shares is worse than soccer betting.
