reality of life

however much i love the wrx, sometimes reality bites me in the ass. and being the rational person that i am, i will accept the fact that i may not be able to buy the wrx anytime soon. till i earn big bucks that is. 1 big reason may be that my work doesnt allow me to drive. eg. CBD. in that case i will even sell summer and take public transport. sad man.

but i've been taking public transport for a sustained period recently. 4 weeks to be exact. back to the days when i was car-less and envious of car owners. and guess what. public transport is dirt cheap. i can drink however much i want and take a cab home and its cheaper than driving. only disadvantage is waiting for the bus. and the squeeze. and the lack of seats. and the slow speed. and the long time taken.

sometimes a car is even more inconvenient. theres ERP. theres ridiculously expensive parking. theres the trouble of finding parking when u reach ur destination. so a car is not so desirable sometimes. u cant drink if driving. pros and cons. but really. if i dun drive to work, i wun bother to give tuition to pay for a car. i rather go out or slack at home and not need to pay for a car which i dont really use. however sad it is, guess i must be rational. but having said that, i will still NOT mod summer anymore and still save. not necessarily for a wrx, but for a rainy day.... hows that for the reality of life???
